Kenya Yetu was founded in 2020 by a group of friends who believed that Kenya's incredible landscapes, wildlife, and culture deserved a travel platform built by Kenyans, for the world.
Growing up exploring the savannahs of the Maasai Mara, climbing the peaks of Mount Kenya, and walking the historic streets of Lamu Old Town, our founders experienced firsthand the magic that makes Kenya one of the most extraordinary countries on Earth.
Frustrated by fragmented booking systems, unreliable operators, and the difficulty international travelers faced in planning authentic Kenyan adventures, they set out to build something different — a platform that combines cutting-edge technology with deep local knowledge.
